VIBRATION SENSOR

General Description:

Vibration Sensor (SW-420), It's a high-sensitivity non-directional vibration sensor. When the module is stable, the circuit turns ON and the output becomes high. When the movement or vibration occurs, the circuit will be briefly disconnected and the output becomes low.

Working Principle:

The SW-420 vibration sensor operates through a piezoelectric element that generates an electrical charge in response to mechanical stress caused by vibrations. This charge is compared to a preset threshold voltage by a built-in comparator circuit. When the generated voltage surpasses this threshold, the sensor outputs a digital signal, indicating the detection of vibration or movement. This compact module with adjustable sensitivity is commonly used in various applications where monitoring of vibrations is essential.

Specifications:

1. Operating voltage: 3.3 V to 5 V

2. Respond to vibration and tilt

3. The lower the voltage of the Variable potentiometer, the higher the sensitive

4. SW-420- the vibration sensor

5. Use of screwdriver to rotate the potentiometer which controls the sensitivity to the sensor.
